Cleaning Operative

Overview

If you’re looking to join a team of like-minded individuals who have a passion for cleaning, then this could be the job for you. You’ll be maintaining clean and safe environments in Aster Group's communal areas and blocks of flats. You’ll mostly be working in Hampshire, with the occasional support cover in Wiltshire but you’ll have a company vehicle to get you from A to B.

You’ve probably guessed what you’ll be doing, and you’re right; you’ll be cleaning communal areas and Independent Living Services communal areas.

By cleaning, Aster Group mean cleaning duties such as:

• Sweeping
• Dusting
• Mopping
• Hoovering
• Wiping down of the windows internally and external entrance doors

You’ll work in a pair for the most part, but there’ll be times where you’ll be working in a small group so no two days will be the same.

You’ll have a passion for cleaning and a focus on excellent customer service, as you’ll be working in communal areas where you may see some of Aster Group's customers from time to time.

You’ll need to be able to work your way around a handheld device which will hold your job information for the day, so some basic IT skills will be needed.

You’ll have access to a company vehicle, so you’ll need a full, UK driving licence and you’ll be buddied up with someone else from the team.

On the odd occasion, you might need to be flexible with your working hours to meet the needs of Aster Group's customers.
