Collections Officer

Overview

CBC Resourcing Solutions's client is an award-winning bank providing a broad range of products to their customers. Well established and based in central London, they are looking to recruit a Collections Officer within their Asset Finance team.

The successful candidate will support the Collections Manager in all collection activities within the Asset Finance Department, which includes arrears collection, debt recovery, sub hire audit function, and liaising with the bank’s internal credit team and outside panel of solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively manage daily returned payments to reduce and prevent customer debt.
• Effectively manage busy workflow and identify key objectives.
• Assist in monitoring the performance of a portfolio of over 6,500 live accounts.
• Maintain close liaison with professional advisers, brokers, valuers, and recovery agents.
• Support the Collections Manager in all collections activities within company policy guidelines.
• Ensure customers are treated fairly and FCA regulations are adhered to.

Requirements:

Previous arrears or collections experience is essential, along with excellent customer service skills.
