Harrogate’s CCTV system makes a major contribution to the safety of North Yorkshire Council's streets – but it’s only as good as the small team of operatives who staff the control room. Your vigilance, initiative, and judgment will make all the difference: cameras may see everything, but they can’t make decisions – you can.
You’ll receive full training on:
- Using the equipment
- Reviewing digital evidence
- Maintaining daily logs
- Use of radios and other duties
You will support retail and night-time economy members of the Radiolink scheme that operates across the Harrogate district by:
- Sharing intelligence
- Responding to live incidents
Be part of a team that has a crucial role in keeping the Harrogate district safe. You will need:
- Experience of computer-based systems
- To pass the police vetting process
- To undergo an eye test
