TLT LLP is recruiting for an IT Project Manager to join TLT LLP's Business Services team in Bristol. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll have demonstrable experience of having total ownership of projects including managing finances and third parties.

Your Role

As an IT Project Manager, your day-to-day remit includes:

  • Managing the delivery of multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring the most effective, timely and appropriate solutions are developed within the agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality to fulfil TLT’s business requirements.
  • Developing project plans and ensuring comprehensive business requirements are documented and align with the project scope, continuously reviewing the scope document as the project progresses.
  • Ensuring corrective actions on projects are taken when required, holding teams and individuals accountable for meeting timelines and milestones.
  • Planning, leading and controlling meetings and workshops as required for the purpose of taking actions and updating plans.
  • Working with PMO to ensure that programme methodology is maintained, and that the key stages of the Methodology are adhered to.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed promptly to minimise impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Reporting project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing regular contact on project status and changes.

Your Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years experience in leading and managing all aspects of IT projects, from conception to completion. This includes planning and scheduling, risk management, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • Experience in delivering projects under different process frameworks of lifecycles (i.e., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall).

Your Team

The Programme Delivery Team is responsible for the delivery of all new IT infrastructure, platforms, enterprise applications, and related upgrades for the firm.

You will be responsible for all aspects of delivery managing teams of a multi-discipline nature, ensuring coordination and administration of key responsibilities associated with projects are met through appropriate planning, coordination, and organisation of deliverables and resources associated with these projects.

A customer-focused approach to the role will be essential as will the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
