Catering Operations Support Manager required to support Vacancy Filler's beautiful homes in the Wiltshire, Somerset & Dorset Area.

About the Role

The Catering Operations Support Manager will assist Vacancy Filler's Chef Managers & catering teams in Vacancy Filler's 5* care & nursing homes. The role requires travel across Vacancy Filler's homes, so access to your own transport is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Direct & support Vacancy Filler's Chef Managers & catering teams in all aspects of their duties.
  • Demonstrate how to cook, prepare & present all meals to specification.
  • Guide the team on meal production by following the order sheets.
  • Ensure due diligence is completed daily, weekly & monthly across Vacancy Filler's Homes.
  • Cover for the Chef or Chef Manager when required.
  • Lead the training on the Country Court Food Safety Manual.
  • Financially develop and monitor the team.
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and legal regulations.

About You

  • Have excellent people management skills.
  • Hold City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry.
  • Ideally have over 4 years of experience in a similar role & environment.
  • Have access to your own transport.
