Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated cleaner to join Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council's existing team, responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment for Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council's children, staff, and visitors. Previous experience as a cleaner in a school or business setting and knowledge of COSHH is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Hours of Work
Hours of work are 6.30am - 8.30am Monday to Friday, totaling 10 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Cleaning areas of the school, as directed by the Site Manager, to the required standard.
- Working safely using correct warning signs, products, and PPE.
- Reporting any health and safety issues to the Site Manager.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and has good attendance.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Able to observe safe working practices.
- Able to carry out mandatory training as directed.
Additional Information
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
