As Staffordshire County Council continue to develop and enhance Staffordshire County Council's in-house residential service for children with disabilities, Staffordshire County Council currently have a vacancy for a part-time cook at Staffordshire County Council's home in Burton upon Trent. Staffordshire County Council's new increased pay range recognizes the challenging nature of the role.
Working Hours: Varying between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will:
- Work within the children's home, providing home-cooked meals for children with a range of dietary needs including allergens.
- Plan menus, order food within budgets, and assist the young people with independent skills.

The Ideal CandidateStaffordshire County Council is looking for an experienced cook who will:
- Engage with the young people to encourage healthy eating.
- Understand dietary and allergen needs.
- Plan meals in advance. You'll be expected to cook fresh home-cooked meals.
