Overview

Kingswood Manor Care Home is in search of a ‘first class’ Cook Chef. The successful candidate will have culinary and management experience, being responsible for kitchen functions including ordering supplies, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals in line with residents’ preferences.
• Menu planning and stock management.
• Ensure food safety checks and records are maintained.
• Work with the Activities Team for special events.
• Oversee employee supervisions and rota scheduling.

Essential Characteristics

• Previous experience in a care setting.
• Qualifications in catering and food safety.

Desirable Characteristics

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and team player skills.
• Effective time management abilities.
