UPP Ltd currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join UPP Ltd's Oxford team.

Job Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for cleaning the designated areas for UPP Ltd's student accommodation including bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens, and all white goods contained in the kitchens. The responsibilities include:

• Vacuuming, spot cleaning, and shampooing carpets, sweeping and polishing floors, and cleaning stairs.
• Washing walls, doors, furniture, radiators, and lampshades as appropriate.
• Emptying waste bins and removing rubbish from flats to bin store areas.
• During the summer season only: Making beds, including stripping and changing sheeting, collection of laundered linen from store, bagging, and packing laundry for collection.
• Cleaning internal and external windows, where applicable.
• Cleaning and washing glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils as appropriate.
• Daily liaison with residents, Residence Managers, and associated UPP staff.
• Acting in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices at all times.

Skills and Experience Requirements

UPP Ltd is looking for candidates who already have experience of cleaning in a similar environment. Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for doing an excellent job are essential. Candidates must have:

• A good conversational standard of the English language.
• The ability to read and interpret UPP Ltd's Health & Safety guidance.
• Willingness to work (with notice) at other sites if required and additional hours when the need arises, especially during main student arrival and departure weekends.
