About the Role

As a Cleaner at Romilly Primary, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.

Pay Details: Grade 1 at £12 per hour.

Hours of Work / Working Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Term Time: 5 hours/week (38 weeks)
• Recess: 4 hours/week (5 weeks)

Main Place of Work: Romilly Primary

Description:

• Assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients.
• Cover for other cleaners during holidays, sickness, and other absences.
• Occasionally assist the chargehand/Site Supervisor in training cleaning staff.
• Undertake various cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning, steam cleaning, and builders cleans.

About You

You will need:

• Previous experience in the cleaning industry or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of cleaning tasks required for an effective service.
• Good verbal communication skills to interact with the public and client officers.
• Physical ability to carry out manual labor duties.
• Initiative and ability to work effectively.
• Positive, self-motivated attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.
• Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as needed.
