The Customer Service Representative will provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, aiming to maintain strong business relationships. Thermo Fisher Scientific's ideal candidate is customer-oriented, advocates for Thermo Fisher Scientific, and is eager to drive growth.
A Day in the Life:
- Communicate professionally via phone and email to customers and internal teams.
- Use order entry systems and knowledge bases to assist with order placements and inquiries.
- Meet established service quality and order processing standards.
Keys to Success:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Two years of customer service experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Understanding of Oracle JD Edwards and SAP software preferred.
- Ability to type, engage with customers via phone, and view a computer monitor regularly.
- Demonstrated judgment, tact, and diplomacy in customer interactions.
- Strong organizational skills to ensure excellent customer service.
