Role Overview: Oldham Council is recruiting a teacher for the Community Living Pathway - Key Stage 5.
This role will involve delivering a Community Living curriculum adapted to the individual needs of students, focusing on achieving EHCP outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Inspire and motivate pupils’ learning and development.
- Teach young people with Autism or Special Educational Needs, developing specific skills in a special school setting.
- Raise standards of attainment and ensure educational potential is met.
- Enhance pupil progress through imaginative and differentiated lessons.
- Utilize current assessment practices and data tracking for all groups of learners.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.
- Demonstrate resilience in working with young people with complex needs.
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment, collaborating effectively.
Location: Initially based at New Bridge Learning Centre, St Martins Road, Fitton Hill. Staff may be required to work at any site within the New Bridge Group.

Salary: Teachers’ Pay Scale + SEN (£2,539 per annum)
