Bupa is currently seeking a Clinical Team Leader (Endoscopy) to join Bupa's professional team at Cromwell Hospital, located in Kensington, London SW5 0TU, just a short walk from Earls Court and Gloucester Road underground stations.
About the Role
The Clinical Team Leader is responsible for managing clinical areas, including assessing care needs, developing and evaluating care programs, and setting standards on a shift basis. This role ensures the delivery of high standards of patient care aligned with clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive up standards of clinical care through knowledge and experience.
- Provide visible leadership and support to both patients and staff.
- Identify deficits in care delivery and implement corrective programs.
- Support quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the audit process to enhance patient care delivery.
- Monitor documentation standards to ensure compliance with regulatory codes.
- Identify workforce shortfalls and ensure safe staffing levels.
- Address professional concerns related to nursing standards and escalate as needed.
- Ensure safeguarding measures are effectively communicated and followed.
- Promote evidence-based clinical care among staff.
Qualifications and Experience
- Adult Registered Nurse (NMC Pin).
- Essential experience in Endoscopy Nursing.
- Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines.
- Teaching or assessing qualification preferred.
