About the Role:

Pay Details: Grade 1 £12.00 per hour.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday.

Term Time: 12.5 hours per week (38 weeks).

Recess: 6 hours per week (5 weeks).

Main Place of Work: Ysgol Iolo Morgannwg, Cowbridge.

Job Description:

• Assist in providing effective cleaning services to building cleaning clients.
• Cover for other cleaners during periods of holidays, sickness, and staff shortages.
• Assist the chargehand/Site Supervisor with training of cleaning staff.
• Perform all aspects of cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, steam cleaning, and site specification cleaning.

About You:

You will need:

• Previous experience in the cleaning industry or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of cleaning tasks required for efficient service delivery.
• Good verbal communication skills to interact with the public and client officers.
• Physical ability to perform manual and active labour duties.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Positive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.
• Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations.
