Domestic Assistant

Overview

Working Hours:

16:45 - 20:00 Mon - Thu and 17:00 - 20:00 Fri.

The role involves providing a range of domestic services within Clinical and Non-Clinical Departments across all areas of the Hospitals and Health Centres. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and Health & Safety regulations.
• Managing infection control as per Audit Scotland and HAI task force requirements.
• Adhering to the National Cleaning Services Specification.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours effective from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This will be applicable to part-time staff on a pro rata basis. Candidates may need to work an additional 30 minutes temporarily until adjustments are made.
