Are you an experienced contract management professional looking for a challenging role where you can make a significant impact? Luton Rising is seeking a Development Contracts Manager to lead the procurement, negotiation, and enforcement of contracts within Luton Borough Council's Strategy & Development team. This role is critical for ensuring successful delivery of Luton Borough Council's strategic plans, managing relationships with contractors, and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring alignment with policies and legal requirements.
• Manage contractor performance, compliance, and payment certification.
• Support Head of Strategy & Development in commercial negotiations and contract preparation.

About You

You will bring substantial experience in managing high-value operational contracts, particularly where contractor relationships are crucial. Strong background in commercial negotiations and contract enforcement is essential.

Effective communication skills are a must, along with the ability to build relationships with partners and stakeholders, demonstrating leadership and influencing skills.
