Depot General Manager

Evri is seeking a Depot General Manager to manage one of Evri's new Depots in Tyneside. The role will be accountable for 100+ heads, a multi-million £ operating budget and a transport function with a large fleet of commercial vehicles. The Depot General Manager will be responsible for leading the team, operational management, financial control, compliance, safety all whilst driving a continuous improvement agenda.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference and be responsible for positive change. Improved and more efficient ways of working are encouraged. Evri have plans for future growth which give you the opportunity to grow with Evri.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Management experience of leading and managing a team
- Experience of managing operational budgets and targets
- Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
- PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
- An understanding of Transport regulations
- Good communicator and able to liaise at all levels
- Flexible approach to work to meet business requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 4 Direct Reports and a team of up to 100 indirect reports
- Ensure Depot meets client SLA’s and budgetary targets
- Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
