Domestic Heating Engineer

Kirklees Council is looking for a Domestic Heating Engineer to join Homes and Neighbourhoods within Kirklees Council. As a Domestic Heating Engineer, you will travel throughout the Kirklees District to deliver essential services, including installation and maintenance tasks at various properties. You must possess excellent communication and customer care skills to liaise effectively with a diverse range of customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Using a handheld mobile device to complete records.
- Working flexibly around core hours based on an annual hours allowance.
- Participating in a call-out rota and working overtime as needed.
Education and qualifications required:
- Apprentice trained with NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Domestic Gas installation.
- Holding ACS – CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 certifications.
- If CKR1 and HTR1 are not held, an extended probationary period will be necessary to obtain these qualifications.
