Bath Spa University is currently seeking a Driver, Hospitality & Retail Assistant (Kitchen Porter/Driver) to join Bath Spa University's friendly team at Bath Spa University.

About the Role

Within this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Food preparation assistance
• Cleaning
• Waste disposal
• Receiving and storing deliveries
• Setting up food counters
• Supporting stock management
• Managing Bath Spa University's food delivery app
• Completing necessary administrative tasks like recording temperatures and cleaning schedules

Flexibility is key, as you'll assist across different outlets as needed. A valid driver's license and compliance with HACCP procedures are essential. The role supports Bath Spa University's hospitality events, nursery deliveries, and commercial business. Therefore, you will be involved in setting up and delivering a range of catering to a high standard across all campuses.

About You

You will have:

• A full driving license
• Basic food safety certification
• GCSEs (or equivalent)
• Driving experience
• Knowledge of allergens and special dietary requirements
• Basic IT skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities

Flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are essential. You must demonstrate good time management, be able to work under pressure, and maintain high standards. A strong understanding of health and safety in a catering environment is required, along with excellent written and spoken English.

Additional Information

Salary: Grade 3, £23,581 to £25,433 per annum
