Deck Rating - Scotland

Overview

As a Deck Rating, you will play a crucial role in the safe operation of Serco Plc's vessels. This position involves a demanding rotation of 6 weeks on duty followed by 3 weeks off.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct ship husbandry tasks.
• Perform cleaning tasks as directed.
• Assist in repair and routine maintenance of ship's equipment.
• Ensure all safety equipment and emergency procedures are followed.

Essential Qualifications

• MCA Certificate of Competency as an Able Seafarer
• STCW Personal Survival Techniques
• STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
• STCW Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft
• Unrestricted ENG1 Passport

Desirable Qualifications

• Security Clearance
• Crane Certification
• Food Hygiene Certificate
