Job Summary

To work flexibly within a dental team providing high-quality dental care for a wide spectrum of patients including adults, children, and those with special needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide highly specialist quality dental care for patients with various treatment needs.
  • Work under the prescription of a dentist.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and the clinical team.
  • Supervise trainee and unqualified staff as required.
  • Ensure adherence to professional guidelines and codes of practice.

Clinical Duties

  • Obtain detailed dental and medical histories from patients.
  • Provide preventive oral care and dental hygiene.
  • Administer treatments such as scaling and root debridement.
  • Provide oral health education and advice.
  • Manage clinical records accurately in line with policies.

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Full registration with the General Dental Council.
  • Proven clinical care skills.
  • Experience treating a diverse patient spectrum.
  • Flexibility to travel across multiple sites.
