Driver Warehouse

Overview

A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join Alliance Automotive Group's busy team. This is a dual role requiring the applicant to perform in either capacity as needed in the branch.

Responsibilities:

Driver

• Pack and load products onto vans according to the company’s specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the route dispatcher.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.

Warehouse Operative

• Picking customer orders, loading vans, and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly.
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries.
• Check and put away supplier deliveries, informing the line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
• Assist with a rolling stock-taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times.
• Help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
