Boss Building Plastics is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Driver/Warehouse Worker to join Boss Building Plastics's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations and timely deliveries.

The candidate should have a clean driving record, be capable of identifying serious accidents and emergencies, and have experience driving long wheel base vehicles (6m bed). Vehicle: 3.5T (No special license required).

Job Details:

• Delivering stock and products to customers around the Northwest
• Loading/unloading activities at delivery addresses
• Safe handling of stock and made-to-order products
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle is roadworthy including vehicle cleanliness
• Warehouse duties, including picking orders and putting stock away

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently
• Organise and maintain inventory within the warehouse, including shelving and storage areas
• Prepare orders for dispatch by picking, packing, and labelling items accurately
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as required
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow
• Assist with deliveries as a van driver when necessary, adhering to all road safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following health and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift
• Valid driver's licence; experience as a delivery driver or commercial driving is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining operational efficiency
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs
