Experienced Barista

Overview

Job Summary: Principles Coffee Limited is seeking a skilled Barista to join Principles Coffee Limited's team in creating delicious coffee and providing exceptional customer service in Principles Coffee Limited's bustling café.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea and iced coffees
• Assist customers in choosing beverages and pastries, taking orders, and handling payments
• Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
• Maintain cleanliness of the café, including the service area and seating areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
• Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista is required
• Proficient in making a range of coffee drinks and beverages
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and hygiene practices
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
