This is an exciting opportunity to join North Yorkshire Council’s new destination management and marketing organisation, Visit North Yorkshire. Created in 2023 following the merging of seven district and borough councils, this is the perfect time to join the new Tourism service and be a part of its objective to showcase North Yorkshire as a must-visit destination and increase the value of the county’s visitor economy.
The Role
The role of the Events Executive will be a part of the North Yorkshire Events service and is critical in the delivery of the North Yorkshire Event Strategy and meeting its objectives. As part of the Events service, you will be responsible for:
- Raising the profile of North Yorkshire as an Events Destination.
- Attracting new Business Conference Events.
- Increasing the volume and variety of events to ensure a year-round programme of activity.
