Exam Invigilator

Overview

Thomas Gainsborough School is seeking to build a team of dedicated examination invigilators to oversee both internal and external examinations. As an Exam Invigilator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that examinations are conducted fairly and in accordance with established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations in line with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and awarding body instructions.
• Uphold the integrity of the examination process.
• Assist in managing exam rooms, equipment, and facilities.
• Supervise candidates during exams to ensure compliance with rules.
• Full training will be provided, although previous experience is advantageous.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive pay rate of £11.59 per hour, which includes accrued holiday pay. Contract hours are flexible and will be negotiated based on exam seasons.
