Experienced Legal Assistant

Overview

Slater Gordon is recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant to join Slater Gordon's successful Serious Injury team in London.

In this role, you will be handling a large number of cases, which involves:

• Chasing medical reports
• Reviewing records and preparing trial bundles
• Managing medical and treatment instructions
• Sending instructions to Counsel
• Paying disbursements
• Drafting letters to clients
• Assisting Fee Earners with various tasks
• Reviewing CCTV footage
• Booking legal hearings

Administrative tasks will also be a key component of your responsibilities, including:

• Arranging conferences
• Assisting with ledgers (client balances and aged debt)
• File transfers
• Providing updates to Slater Gordon's clients
