Overview

Serco is contracted to provide Total Facilities Management to the Defence Academy of the UK (DA). This prestigious establishment is responsible for post-graduate education and various training programs for members of the UK Armed Forces and MOD Civil Servants.

About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Operative, you will undertake preventative and reactive emergency and routine maintenance repairs to various building services on MOD buildings. Your role is crucial in providing a customer-focused and cost-effective service.

Key Accountabilities:

• Carry out electrical pre-planned maintenance and reactive activities across a multi-building site.
• Conduct repairs to a variety of building services while demonstrating competence in multi-skilling beyond your core trade.
• Be involved with refurbishment, planned and reactive maintenance.
• Work with minimal supervision and make informed decisions on the most appropriate repair solutions.
• Undertake a continual program of risk assessment relevant to your role.
• Provide exceptional service to Serco Plc's high-profile client, striving for the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

• Recognized trade background & qualifications (apprenticeship or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.
