Job Position: Environmental Permit and Audit Manager

Location: Truro, Cornwall

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Job Responsibilities

• Design, propose and manage the environmental compliance for all sites, ensuring alignment with corporate and regulatory needs.
• Oversee environmental permit applications and conduct annual compliance assessments.
• Collate technical documents to support planning applications.
• Conduct internal site inspections to audit performance against permit requirements.
• Collaborate with finance to develop budgets and timelines for applications.
• Work with various teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Identify and resolve environmental issues proactively.
• Manage environmental accidents and ensure implementation of lessons learned.
• Implement and maintain an Integrated ISO Management System aligned with ISO 14001 standards.

Skills and Experience Required

• Extensive knowledge of EA permitting.
• Experience with integrated management systems like PAS 99 and ISO 14001.
• Strong understanding of ISO auditing standards.
