About the Team
GBIS Corporate Real Estate UK & EMEA is responsible for providing Estate Management and Strategy across the SG Investment Bank Portfolio. Société Générale offer both GBIS and non-GBIS entities commercial, technical, strategic, and transaction advice at senior management level to ensure business lines can make the best real estate decisions.
Summary of Key Purposes of the Role
- Proactive management of SG’s CRE Estate Management and Strategy requirements.
- Delivery of assigned projects on time and within budget.
- Collaboration with Facilities Team, Workplace, and IT to implement required changes/projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Estate Management across the UK, EMEA & Globally.
- Gain knowledge of all Estate Management Projects in the UK.
- Provide project updates to senior stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day Lease diary events and related strategies.
- Oversee UK Landlord/Tenant/Local Government relationships.
- Provide technical real estate support to UK Facilities Management & Workplace teams.
- Deliver UK and EMEA outsourced Transaction Management projects.
- Manage outsourced providers and consultants to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Profile Required
- Must be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience within an Advisory or Corporate environment.
Experience or working knowledge of:
- Portfolio Strategy and Optimisation in a changing working environment.
- Project outsourcing and delivery.
- High-level understanding of UK Real Estate Law.
- Financial appraisals and Real Estate databases.
