Overview

Outcomes First Group is excited to introduce Groveside School in Reading, Berkshire, opening in September 2024, dedicated to students with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). As an English Teacher, you will lead English and literacy across Outcomes First Group's school.

Responsibilities:

• Manage individual classroom support, small group work, and 1:1 sessions.
• Oversee support staff and monitor SEND provision effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external agencies for optimal student support.
• Lead staff training on Individual Needs and new SEND initiatives.
• Teach English to larger groups to foster relationships.

Key Skills Required:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (Desirable).
• Experience in teaching English at a good or outstanding level.
• Knowledge of current educational issues.
• Experience in supporting autism and challenging behavior.
• Strong communication skills.
