Job Summary

Calderdale Council is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible tutor for Calderdale Council's accredited English Functional Skills and ESOL programs. Starting the week of 6th January 2025, this role is essential to Calderdale Council's mission of providing outstanding education for approximately 4,000 adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional English qualifications from Entry level to Level 2 and ESOL up to Entry level 3.
• Assess learners' starting points and tailor learning to individual needs.
• Track progress and provide relevant IAG to support future choices.
• Utilize online platforms to enhance teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Skills

• Teaching experience in an adult setting is essential.
• Relevant subject knowledge and relatable skills.
• Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to new teaching challenges.
