Early Years Educator

Overview

Join the NHS Workplace Nursery as an Early Years Educator! Located at Sussex House Nursery, Royal Sussex County Hospital, this role focuses on nurturing preschoolers aged 3 and above. As a qualified Level 2/3 Early Years Educator, you will be instrumental in supporting children's learning and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality childcare service in a safe and stimulating atmosphere.
• Plan and undertake activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Act as a 'Key Worker' for a small group of children, supporting their care and educational needs.
• Engage children in creative and sensory play, both indoors and outdoors.
• Communicate effectively with parents/carers to foster relationships.

Working Hours

The position is part-time, with 17 hours per week, likely covering Monday and Tuesday, with the possibility of additional flexible hours.

Qualifications
