The Details:

  • Title: Early Years Instructor
  • Contract: Seasonal holiday work available in Easter, Summer, and other half-term holidays.
  • Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm weekdays. Full-time or part-time roles available, with additional hours for staff holding a paediatric first aid qualification (usually 8am – 6pm).

Summary of Position:

  • Ensure the welfare and safety of the children.
  • Deliver outstanding, structured activities (sports, arts, play) to the Early Years children, Ultimate Activity Camps's Ultimate Activity Juniors.
  • Collaborate with your Early Years Leader to ensure activities align with EYFS requirements for learning and development, emphasizing participation.
  • Act as a key contact for the 4 and 5-year-olds on camp, providing high-quality care.

About You

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and delivering activities.
  • Passionate about developing children through play and activity.
  • Good organisation and communication skills.
  • A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
  • Seeking a rewarding holiday job while advancing in the childcare and coaching industry.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working with Early Years aged children and delivering the EYFS.
  • Qualified to Level 2 in childcare or Early Years or pursuing a degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Primary Education or Early Years).
  • Hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification.
