Job Summary:

Join Westgate Healthcare's dedicated team at Chestnut Manor Care Home as a compassionate and caring Food & Beverage Assistant. Job Details

Hourly Rate: £11.55 per hour, plus an additional 50p per hour for weekend shifts.

Working Hours: Up to 38 hours per week, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the cleaning of services and kitchens on a daily basis.
• Prepare meals and assist in washing crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
• Distribute and collect crockery from residents.
• Relay and clear tea trolleys where applicable.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Carry out reasonable requests from the Home Manager or Head Chef.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Right to live and work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
• Previous experience in a similar position is essential.
• Experience in a care home is ideal; however, candidates from hotel/restaurant backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team with a caring nature and positive attitude.
• Understanding of Health and Safety, Infection Control, and COSHH.
