Financial Controller

Overview

CMA Recruitment Group's client is a small but rapidly expanding and very profitable business that designs, manufactures, and sells from the same site in Poole, Dorset. They have a superb opportunity for an ambitious Financial Controller, keen to progress to the next level, overseeing their finance function.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

• Part of the senior leadership team, supporting local management in leading the business from a finance perspective.
• Working with key stakeholders to develop and execute business plans.
• Ensuring robust financial controls are in place, delivering financial targets and ensuring compliance with all UK regulations.
• Presenting financial information to various stakeholders and providing detailed variance analysis.
• Producing all monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.
• Production and submission of accurate five-year plans, annual budgets, and subsequent monthly rolling 12-month forecasts.
• Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and improving processes and procedures where necessary.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller role:

• Fully CIMA or ACCA qualified.
• Some experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels, including shop floor, suppliers, and presenting to the board.
