Delib is seeking a talented Freelance Content Writer to help communicate the power of digital democracy and citizen engagement. The role involves creating compelling content about Delib's innovative products and their impact on public sector decision-making.

The Role

As a Freelance Content Writer, you'll craft a variety of written materials focused on Delib's flagship engagement product, Citizen Space. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating digest posts and email copy
  • Writing product-related content, including release announcements and 'playbooks'
  • Producing newsroom articles, such as customer stories and round-up posts
  • Developing longer-form content like whitepapers, case studies, and eBook reports
  • Collaborating with Delib's in-house SEO strategist and CMO to align content with marketing strategies

What Delib're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a writer skilled at making complex topics accessible and engaging, with a passion for the public sector and citizen engagement. Essential qualities include:

  • Excellent writing skills with adaptability for different audiences
  • Experience in both technical and marketing writing
  • Exceptional spelling and grammar
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Willingness to collaborate closely with Delib's team while also working independently
  • Interest in digital democracy, civic tech, or government processes

Desirable, but not essential, qualities include:

  • Experience writing about government and the public sector
  • Familiarity with SaaS products and markets
  • Understanding of SEO principles
