Field Service Engineer

Overview

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer seeking a new opportunity? Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Limited's superb client is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. You will be based in Scotland, travelling between Edinburgh and Glasgow to customer sites across the region, working core hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Any work conducted outside of these hours will be payable as overtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plant machinery diagnostics.
• Service and repair machinery in a customer-facing, site visit-based role.

Skills Required

As a Field Service Engineer, you will need to be:

• A strong ambassador for your employer.
• Experienced in hydraulic systems, axles, manual transmission and power shift.
• Familiar with cam-bus electrical systems and relevant machinery.
• Able to build strong business relationships with customers.
• Dedicated to promoting a professional company image.
• Capable of meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Qualifications

You will hold NVQ Level 2, 3, or an equivalent qualification, and have proven relevant plant industry servicing and maintenance experience within construction, HGV, or agricultural machinery. A full UK driving licence is required.
