About The Role

You will play a vital role as a Kitchen Assistant, maintaining the smooth operation of Avanti's kitchen.

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: Casual Contract (this role could require candidates to work an additional 4 weeks outside of term-time)

In this diverse role, you’ll ensure all areas are clean and organized, prepare and pack meals according to kitchen requirements, and assist with the service and set-up for staff and guests. You will work closely with the Chef to provide balanced and healthy meals, contributing to a high-quality dining experience while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

You’ll also handle deliveries, manage stock rotation, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols. If you’re a proactive team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, Avanti’d love to have you on board!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all types of food in line with kitchen requirements or pack meals as needed.
  • Assist in all aspects of the day-to-day duties in the kitchen and Front of House, ensuring that the required catering service is successfully delivered daily.
  • Liaise and cooperate with the Chef Manager and the Front of House Manager, following their requests and orders.
  • Preparation of meals and packing, observing all Quality, Hygiene, and Food Safety requirements.
