As the Group Head of Health & Safety at Kingfisher, you will:
- Establish, maintain, and monitor the Group H&S Management System to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding health, safety, and welfare at work.
- Prepare reporting on H&S objectives and KPIs, identifying trends and areas for continual improvement.
- Maintain the H&S legal and risk register, providing guidance on actions to eliminate hazards and reduce risks.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on best practices and respond to technical H&S related inquiries.
- Develop and foster strong working relationships with H&S representatives to implement good practices and update audit plans.
- Conduct investigations into high severity accidents or incidents and make recommendations for improvement.
What you'll bring:
- Established Health & Safety or Compliance professional in a recognized role within a large, matrix organization.
- Chartered membership of IOSH or similar.
- Proven understanding of risk assessment processes.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with personnel at various levels and cultures.
