Job Description

The purpose of this role is to handle and confirm that incoming goods comply with relevant specifications, locate them in the correct locations, and record the transactions in the ERP system. Additionally, you will be responsible for packaging and shipping finished goods directly to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an efficient and courteous first point of contact for all delivery personnel, third-party couriers, and customer collection vehicles.
• Unload vehicles and receive purchased, subcontract, and customer-owned products in a safe manner while guaranteeing proper handling of the product.
• Confirm goods received meet purchasing specifications/requirements, including documentary inspections (e.g. Certificates of Conformity).
• Ensure that goods received are identified accurately and recorded in the Company's stock system (ERP).
• Deliver goods received efficiently to the relevant departments throughout the company.
• Maintain the goods in/holding area to be safe, secure, clean, and organized, in line with company best practices.
• Alert departments upon receipt of urgent supplies or reagent deliveries, especially those requiring refrigeration.
• Securely package and identify goods for shipment to customers as directed.
• Generate necessary packing lists, shipment paperwork, and invoices for outgoing goods.
• Follow defined processes to ensure effective Health, Safety, and Environmental practices as outlined by the Brookhouse Aerospace HSE Management System.
