Goods In / Goods Out Assistant

Overview

Working hours:

• 7.30am – 4.00pm with half an hour unpaid lunch break and two paid 15 minute morning/afternoon breaks, totaling a 40-hour week
• Days of work: Monday to Friday

• Must have a current forklift licence
• Excellent organisational skills

• Problem solving
• Experience working with live loads would be an advantage

Responsibilities include:

• Provide cover for Goods in/Goods out as required, focusing on keeping the yard/warehouse organised
• Loading/Unloading (weight limits, segregation, ADR)
• Keep yard tidy, organised and accessible
• Labelling orders
• Ensure safe and compliant storage of raw materials and finished products
• Manage stock rotation of raw materials
• Decant product from IBC’s into smaller containers
• Ensure accurate & timely stock transactions are recorded
• Using scanners to correctly record stock movements
• Assist with the management and return of empty containers
• Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
