Role Overview: Warehouse Operative for Fabrics in Burnley

The Warehouse Operative will be an integral part of Panaz Ltd's team, responsible for moving heavy fabric rolls around the warehouse either by hand or using FLT.

• Move large fabric rolls by hand and by FLT from lorry to shelf, shelf to production team, and production team to shelf.
• Use scanners and systems to book in-stock.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse environment.
• Maintain health and safety regulations, promoting a safe workspace for all employees.
• Follow all established warehouse procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse environment.
• Reliable & committed (joining a long-standing team).
• Use of scanners and complicated computer systems.
• FLT certificate.
• Able to perform heavy lifting and handle large fabric rolls repetitively.
• Good health and safety awareness, with a common sense approach to problem-solving.
• Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
