It features one of the county's most picturesque 18-hole and 9-hole (par 3) golf courses, a fully stocked golf shop, and a state-of-the-art QC Quad golf simulator. The clubhouse includes a bar and restaurant catering to daily golf members, guests, and visitors.

Sapey Golf & Country Club also offer four self-catering accommodation lodges, three of which have hot tubs and scenic views of the Par 3 Oaks course.

Job Summary

Sapey Golf & Country Club is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Golf Operations Assistant to join Sapey Golf & Country Club's team. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth daily operations of Sapey Golf & Country Club's business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail, memberships, and hospitality, with excellent skills in managing tasks related to events and guest services.

Duties

• Perform daily operational tasks to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of Sapey Golf & Country Club's golf operations.
• Support the General Manager and team with member, visitor, and group bookings.
• Handle general inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist in golf retail with sales, merchandising, stock rotation, and control.
• Manage membership sales.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve overall operations.
• Contribute to social media content and provision.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operations.
• Assist in inventory management and procurement processes.
• Monitor and report on operational performance metrics.

Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality-related role is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent guest services.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, BRS Golf, EPOS Now, and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
