At Jet2.com we are proud to deliver a VIP Service to our customers.We have a fantastic opportunity as a Customer Helper - Ground Operations Front of House Trainer to join us at Newcastle Airport!

Based at Newcastle Airport and reporting to the Ground Operations Training Supervisor, the Ground Operations Front of House Trainer will be responsible for providing classroom training, support and coaching to our Front of House (customer facing) colleagues at the airport to ensure they are working and operating in accordance with our safety culture and brand philosophy.

What will you do as a Front of House Trainer ?

  • Identify and analyse individual training and development needs, making recommendations in line with our Leadership Framework.
  • Undertake the delivery of coaching and support for all customer facing ground operations colleagues, ensuring training is tailored to individual requirements.
  • Be responsible for the design and development of initial and recurrent training for new and existing colleagues to support them to achieve the highest performance standards..

This is a varied and fulfilling role and will play a vital part in ensuring we achieve our Safety and Customer Satisfaction targets.

This role is available on a full time (40 hours per week) basis. Working hours are rostered and will include early starts and weekend working to support the delivery of in the job coaching and training.What are the key skills/experience you'll already have?

  • A subject matter expert in Ground Operations (Check-In and Boarding) procedures you will have experience of coaching and supporting the learning of others in role
  • You will have the ability to effectively share your knowledge and embed learning as well as be able to engage and influence others.
  • You will be passionate about training and developing others and be able to engage with our wider Front of House team.
  • You will ideally have a proven track record of delivering training to ground operations colleagues in a fast-paced environment..
  • Unless a recognised equivalent is already held, the successful candidate will be willing to study towards the Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification which will be provided by the company.
