Job Title: Goods Out Operative

• Number of posts: 1
• Contracted Hours per week: 40
• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Shift Pattern: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 3:15 PM finish on Fridays
• Rate of Pay: £12.00 - £14.00 per hour depending upon experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all goods loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
• Taking responsibility for company freight and assets, reporting any suspicious activity.
• Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
• Reporting damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors.
• Maintaining a clean warehouse environment and equipment.
• Adhering to workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
• Ensuring efficient operations by following procedures and schedules.
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls using a hand-held scanner.
• Treating merchandise with care at all times.
