Ground Operations Supervisor

Overview

The GROUND OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR will be appointed on a permanent basis and is expected to manage a small team engaged in the Council's burial and ground maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervisory Management: Participate actively in management. Oversee operational planning and resource allocation.
• People Management: Supervise Grounds Maintenance and Burials teams. Monitor productivity and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Health & Safety: Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Biodiversity Initiatives: Manage biodiversity programs and eco-projects.

Skills and Experience

• 3 years in horticultural roles.
• 2 years in supervisory positions.
