Job Description:
UPS United Kingdom have an exciting opportunity to join UPS United Kingdom's fast paced HR team providing full employee relations & recruitment support to UPS United Kingdom's Gateshead, Sedgefield, Carlisle & Leyland sites.
To front line employees you are an approachable, experienced individual who can offer impartial advice on Company policies and procedures. To UPS United Kingdom's management staff you are providing proactive HR consultative services in areas of employee relations, talent management, absence management & recruitment.
This role supports the 24/7 operations of UPS and requires flexibility with regular travel and working times. UPS United Kingdom welcome applications from candidates with HR generalist experience, an HR administrator seeking their first generalist role or someone newly CIPD qualified.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full HR support to local management and employees, including ownership of the recruitment process.
- Maintain compliance standards, including background checks.
- Conduct audits in HR owned matters to uphold company standards.
- Be an ambassador of company standards and expectations.
Essentials:
- Full UK driving license and personal car with business travel insurance.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Up to date understanding of employment law and UPS policies & procedures.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks successfully.
- Self-motivated, organised, and adaptable to varying working hours.
