HR Advisor - Immediate Start

Contract type: Temporary until 31st March 2025

Working as part of a team of HR professionals, this is an exciting opportunity to support Liberata's clients and Liberata colleagues in the North of England.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide advice to managers and employees on all aspects of HR policies and procedures, employment law, terms and conditions, and best practice.
• Undertake complex casework and support the resolution of workplace disputes.
• Manage attendance across the organisation, producing and reporting on accurate statistics, and identifying and delivering initiatives to reduce absenteeism.
• Work closely with occupational health and wellbeing providers to ensure high-quality services are promoted to all employees and managers.
• Support and actively participate in recruitment and selection.
• Lead on HR-related projects for clients.
• Assist the HR Manager in designing and implementing the workforce strategy.
• Support work experience placements and promote career opportunities with Liberata and clients.
• Contribute to the development of a robust infrastructure of employment policies and practices and ensure their implementation in mainstream management practice.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• Experience in providing guidance and support to managers on all aspects of HR management.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet planned outcomes and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Ability to analyse and interpret statistics and prepare and deliver briefings or presentations.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
