Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a to work on their contract in New Cross, London.

Salary and Benefits

The successful Health and Safety Advisor can expect:

• Salary: Negotiable Day Rate (Depending on skillset and experience)
• Days role, Monday to Friday 7 am - 5 pm
• Temporary contract role until the end of December 2024
• Immediate start for the right candidate
• Allocated site parking

The Role

Health and Safety Advisor Responsibilities:

• Working with Project teams to ensure the highest standards of health & safety are met on Project sites
• Provide appropriate information, support, assurance, and challenge to Project teams
• Assist with the development of content for HSE Training and awareness programmes
• Assist with the implementation of the Construction behavioural based safety programme
• Working with scaffolding, at heights, and ensuring the safety of staff across site

Requirements

What Recruit4staff (Wrexham) Ltd's client is looking for:

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate - ESSENTIAL
• IOSH Certificate - BENEFICIAL
• Previous on-site H&S experience in Civil Engineering/Construction - ESSENTIAL
• Must possess previous construction project experience - ESSENTIAL
• An excellent understanding of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Risk Management, legislation, and industry standards
